In order to have them played by the records, however, you will need to rename your custom music files to match those of the original music discs (i.e., 13, ward, strad, cat, wait). Inside of that folder, create a new folder called “game.” Inside of the game folder, create a new folder called “records.” This is the file where you can add up to 13 unique. Open it and create a new folder called “music” inside of it. Go back the the main folder list for the resource pack.
Be sure to maintain the proper formatting in this document, because it contains all of the important information about the file.
That is strictly optional, and I would not recommend messing around with the other options besides the description and the UUIDs. If you want, you can add a custom description for the pack in the area holding the “Example vanilla resource pack” text. Make sure that the new UUIDs have quotation marks around them, for the code to function properly. Copy and paste one of each string into each previous “uuid” string area. These will need replaced, so I would recommend going the the UUID Generator site and generating two bulk IDs. There are two long strings of digits and letters under the label “uuid,” which are unique identifiers for the pack. There should be oddly formatted lines of text.
